This Privacy Policy explains how car-e20.in (“the site”, “we”) handles information when you use our E20 compatibility checker for cars and bikes. We have designed the site to collect as little as possible.
1. Information we do not collect
The checker runs entirely in your browser. When you select your vehicle or type a registration number, that information is processed on your device only — it is not sent to us, not stored on our servers, and not saved to any database. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or phone number.
2. Your vehicle registration number
The registration-number field is optional and used only to personalise the result shown on your screen (for example, decoding the state and RTO from the number). This happens locally in your browser. We do not look it up against any external database, transmit it, or retain it. Closing or refreshing the page clears it.
3. Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements, which helps keep the site free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and — where enabled — to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Because we do not collect or store personal information about you, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, or delete. For data handled by third parties such as Google (advertising) or Netlify (hosting), please refer to their respective privacy policies and controls, including the ad-settings links above.
6. Children
This site is a general-audience information tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
